Not Prime Time Letter 2014

Hello, mystery author! If you haven't already, please feel free to have a look around my collection on Ao3 and my letters for other fests; if you already have, I think you'll find much of what I have to say here familiar.
My preferences in a nutshell: I like plot, humor, worldbuilding and fleshing out throwaway details or anecdotes from canon, and good (or at least well-intentioned) characters who have to reckon with the fact that the world doesn't always operate in strict good vs. evil terms. What I am not a fan of is torture or unrelenting darkfic; the protagonists don't necessarily need to prevail in the end, but I'd like to walk away with the sense their struggles were for some greater purpose than to demonstrate "life is pain and then you die."
As you might have gathered, I prefer gen over romance-centric fic - though if you want to do pairings for Justice League, I'm cool with pretty much any couple shown or strongly implied in canon. (Lex/Braniac included, as long as it remains an affair of the mind and not metal tentacles in places they shouldn't be.) If you do write sex, I'm much more interested in awkward first encounters than mind-blowing orgasms. My kinks don't extend much past light bondage, I'm not really into genderswap or body tranformations, and non-con or non-standard bodily fluids are definite nos.
I'm not sure there's much more elaborating I can do on my prompts, but here they are again in case you (or someone else) should need them for reference:
Justice League and Justice League Unlimited
I'd really like to give some prompts for this one, but all I can manage is a general squee regarding the series (and the entire DCAU, really). I love the Cadmus arc, especially when Amanda Waller is involved. I love the way Lex walks the line between humanity's greatest accomplishments and its worst instincts. I love Flash's rogues gallery and Task Force X and all the other blue-collar villains, and I love the Watchtower support staff. I love Vigilante and Sir Justin debating Clint Eastwood movies, and the Question going through everyone's trash. I love the futuristic League with Terry and Kai-Ro and Barda and scary old man Bruce. And of course, I love the core team and how they always manage to have each others' backs even when they don't agree.
So, um, yeah. Go nuts. Just don't demonize anyone* in the name of advancing the plot or providing a convenient antagonist or resolving any love triangles. (Particularly Shayera and/or Mari. I'm not sure there's a 100% happy ending for that situation, but I think everyone can at least walk away with their dignity intact.)
*Okay, fine, anyone except Jason Blood. But if you're going to use Etrigan, I insist that he rhyme.
Frozen
I'd really like to see post-canon fic of Elsa as Queen. How does she deal with any lingering fear or prejudice? What is the adjustment from spending most of her time in her room to having to understand her subjects' lives and needs like? How does she handle the temptation to solve everything using her powers, and what does she do when she can't?
Alternatively, crossovers! Elsa and Rapunzel swap stories about adjusting to the outside world. AU where Elsa goes on the voyage with her parents, and gets rescued by Ariel. AU where Elsa's parents realize "conceal, don't feel" is about as effective as "have you tried not being a mutant?" and send her to Master Xavier's School for the Gifted. Elsa goes to Hogwarts. Jedi (or Sith) Elsa.
Basically, Elsa being awesome. Preferably in a gen fashion, though I wouldn't say no to femslash as long as it's not incest.
Elementary
If I'm being less verbose about this request than the others, it's not because I love Elementary any less. It's more that I am really, really bad at putting the awesomeness that is Sherlock and Joan's platonic life partnership into words – which is why I am hoping you can do it for me, dear author! Sherlock and Joan on a case, Sherlock giving Joan training exercises, Joan trying to socialize Sherlock (and maybe even succeeding a tiny bit), AU in which Sherlock and Joan can't rule out the impossible because magic and/or supernatural creatures are real...just as long as it's Sherlock and Joan being Sherlock and Joan. And Clyde, of course. Because Clyde is awesome.
Good luck, and have fun! I look forward to reading what you come up with!
