You're a Voyager fan? That was my first internet fandom, the first time I'd ever heard of fanfic. I was a die-hard Janeway writer, with three OTPs -- Janeway/Seven, Janeway/Paris, and Janeway/Kashyk (remember him, the telepath-killer from the episode "Counterparts"? Talk about UST. . .) But I ended up pairing her with any number of people.
I'm completely with you on the Chakotay/Seven nonsense. Absurd. The producers went out of their way to establish Seven's het credentials, with the Doc and Kim and even Icheb.
I had a love-hate relationship with the actual show, but I still have a huge soft spot for Janeway. Older women with power get to me every time.
